Basir Rashha:” Call me Romanian!”
Afghanistan, a land of long-lasting goodbyes.
When he was 12, he left his country, Afghanistan and joined his mother in the city of Tehran, where he began his formal education.
Ten years ago, he chose to live in Romania, a totally understandable choice for any free man to make. He is Basir Rashha, a fashion designer and a writer. He calls Romania his home, the place where his dream came true. His work reflects society’s sensibilities through fashion design.
Basir says he feels „absolutely devastated seeing what’s happening in Afghanistan” :
” It’s absolutely heartbreaking. I’ve been following it avidly and hardly slept last night thinking about it, watching it all unfolding and I just feel absolutely heartbroken for the Afghan people and all of the lives that have been lost.”.
In an intimate setting with TVR Senior Journalist Loredana Negrilă, he shares his successes, his failures, his victories and disappointments.
